The objective of this work is to investigate the flutter characteristics of aircrafts with T-tails. Since conventional methods for the computation of the unsteady aerodynamic forces, like the Doublet Lattice Method (DLM), are nor able to take into account all the parameters that strongly influence on the aeroelástica characteristics of these type of configurations a strip theory is applied for the computation of these effects on the horizontal plane based on analytical solution for in-plane motions for airfoil. Results for the aircraft EADS-CASA A400M are presented. | |
