Abstract

| The aim of this project is two-fold. A) to enable the monitoring of critical infrastructures and utilities (airports, public venues, transport, water and energy plants, etc.), which may be crowded with many people and more specifically to detect abandoned objects and determine the location or the followed path of the person that left them, B) to develop and exploit an autonomous robot-based multi sensor system with a capability of detecting the content of an abandoned object and manipulating it. | |
