This document presents a proposal for a preliminary version of the HEVC inverse transform in RVC-CAL based on the HM-5.1. The source code, the stimuli and reference files to compare the results can be found attached to this document. The structure of the contribution is as follows. Section 2 describes the supported features of the HEVC inverse transform. Section 3 presents the modifications introduced in the reference software to generate the stimuli and reference streams employed to validate the RVC-CAL specification. Section 4 presents how the attached RVC-CAL code files are structured. In addition, different block diagrams to better understand the specification structure are included. Section 5 outlines the validation procedure utilized for the functional unit (FU) and its composing blocks. At last,in Section 6, the conclusions are drawn.
