Abstract
We live in an era where the generation of data is experiencing an exponential growth,resulting in many cases that the analysis power is surpassed. Neuroscience is not an exception to this context. Recent advances in image acquisition technology with the new microscopes have displaced the bottleneck from the acquisition stage to the data analysis stage. In this Thesis I have made diferent contributions in order to improve the productivity and the ability to analysis of neuroscientists. New interactive techniques have been developed for image analysis. The understanding of data has also been enhanced through interaction with new representations derived from the original data. Furthermore, all this has been implemented and validated in a real working environment.
