In futurepowerplants(i.e.DEMO),thenuclearfusionofhydrogenisotopeswillbeusedforenergypro- duction. Thebehaviourofhydrogenisotopesinlithium-enrichedceramicsforbreederblankets(BBs)is one ofthemostimportantitemstobeunderstood. In thispaperwepresentthechemical,microstructuralandmorphologicalfeaturesofLi4SiO4, Li2TiO3 and athirdceramiccandidatewithahigherLi:Siproportion(3:1),implantedwithDatanenergyof 100 keVandatroomtemperatureatafluenceof1 ? 1017 cm?2. The Ddepth-profileinas-implantedandannealedceramics(at T 6 200 ?C) wascharacterisedbyRes- onance NuclearReactionAnalysis(RNRA).TheRNRAdataindicatethatthetotalamountofDisretained at roomtemperature,whileannealingat100 ?C promotesDreleaseandannealingat TP150 ?C drivesD to completelydesorbfromallthestudiedceramics.Dreleasewillbediscussedasafunctionofthemicro- structurural andmorphologicalfeaturesofeachmaterial. ? | |
