This paper presents a MATLAB-based graphical user interface tool designed to perform the statistical analysis of very high resolution radar data, obtained through the deployment of a radar sensor in different locations. The experimental results are compared with existing theoretical models and the effects of the main characteristics of the deployment scenario, such as predominant terrain type or relief are assessed. The aim of this work is to support the design of automatic detection algorithms that optimize the performance of the radar sensor for a specific location. | |
