We introduceadominanceintensitymeasuringmethodtoderivearankingofalternativestodealwith incompleteinformationinmulti-criteriadecision-makingproblemsonthebasisofmulti-attribute utility theory(MAUT)andfuzzysetstheory.Weconsiderthesituationwherethereisimprecision concerningdecision-makers?preferences,andimpreciseweightsarerepresentedbytrapezoidalfuzzy weights.Theproposedmethodisbasedonthedominancevaluesbetweenpairsofalternatives.These values canbecomputedbylinearprogramming,asanadditivemulti-attributeutilitymodelisusedto rate thealternatives.Dominancevaluesarethentransformedintodominanceintensitymeasures,used to rankthealternativesunderconsideration.Distancesbetweenfuzzynumbersbasedonthegeneral- ization oftheleftandrightfuzzynumbersareutilizedtoaccountforfuzzyweights. An exampleconcerningtheselectionofinterventionstrategiestorestoreanaquaticecosystem contaminatedbyradionuclidesillustratestheapproach.MonteCarlosimulationtechniqueshavebeen usedtoshowthattheproposedmethodperformswellfordifferentimprecisionlevelsintermsofahit ratio andarank-ordercorrelationmeasure. | |
