Idea Management Systems are platforms often used for col- lecting ideas from large communities. In relation to large quantities of data those systems gather, one of the problems is the difficulty to accurately depict the distinctive features of ideas in a rapid manner and use them for judgement of proposed innovations. The research described in this paper aims to solve this problem by introducing annotation of ideas with a domain independent taxonomy that describes various characteristics of ideas.
