The modelling of laminated glass has attracted much attention as the material?s popularity is further increasing due to its multiple uses. While the static behavior is well understood, the dynamic response of laminated glass is an important research topic due to its complex nature. Commercial laminated glass is usually composed of two glass layers with elastic behavior and an interlayer considered linear viscoelastic. In this paper, stress time histories of a laminated glass beam have been estimated. The tests were carried out controlling the temperature conditions and subjecting the structure to impulse excitation. During each test accelerations as well as strains have been measured at several points of the structure. | |
