Abstract
This paper presents comparisons of high order Discontinuous Galerkin (DG) solvers using both compressible and incompressible formulations for the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations. The main purpose of this paper is to provide qualitative and quantitative comparisons to as- sess the limits of accuracy of compressible solvers when computing low Reynolds and low Mach number flows.
