Abstract

A technique for reconstructing the field distribution on slot array antennas from near-field data is presented. By exploiting the geometry information of slots in the Gerchberg-Papoulis iterative algorithm, the invisible region of plane wave spectrum is extrapolated and the field on each slot is reconstructed with high spatial resolution. The proposed algorithm is validated through the source reconstruction of a K-band radial line slot antenna measured in planar and spherical near-field measurement system. | |
