Abstract

This work proposes the integration of an array beampattern synthesis methodology from linear programming and an electromagnetic analysis of the array based on the infinite array approach. The periodic radiating elements are characterized from a full wave and modular procedure based on domain decomposition, 3D-FEM, modal analysis and matrix formulation. The technique takes into account real radiating patterns of antennas with complex geometry and the mutual coupling between the array elements. | |
