In this paper, we describe an optical Multiple Input Digital Output (M.I.D.O.) device. Although it has been studied before [1, 2], now we analyze it through photonics simulations that let us characterize it with more degree of freedom. This device has several applications since we can configure it in order to have the Pin-Pout curve that we need for our purposes. Those purposes can be to achieve sensors [3] or optical logic gates[1], for example. The optical M.I.D.O. device has two bistable devices inside it with their own bias currents. Modifying them, we change completely the Pin-Pout curve of the M.I.D.O. device. | |
