| The present research study evaluates the use of waste coal to produce electricity in a waste-to-energy system as an efficient waste management alternative, by maximising the contribution of waste coal in the waste coal-based fuel feedstock defined and considered in the assessment. Four alternatives of electricity generation facility are proposed and evaluated by implementing available technology units to improve the energy recovery and the valuable by-products production from waste coal. It considers and assesses the potential integration of the process units for waste coal clean deployment. | |
