This paper shows a summary of the main known techniques for echo reduction, focusing on some implementations done through the collaboration between Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and Microwave Vision Group (MVG) and the application to the measurement of antennas in near field systems. The paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the three kind of techniques: time filtering, modal filtering and spatial filtering. Then, it shows the comparison of the performance of some of those techniques through the application to the case of the measurement of a dipole antenna in a StarLab System in a environment with a large echo | |
