This work presents a 3D upper limb musculoskeletal model and the simulation of arm rotation for the case of a healthy human subject and one with upper brachial plexus injury (UBPI). Then, the length change in muscles and range of movement was obtained and compare for both cases. The study and analysis in this work on aspects related to the upper brachial plexus injury can help to define more effective rehabilitation therapies. In addition, the musculoskeletal model is a useful medical tool for both clinical practice and research. | |
