Abstract

| The use of the lattice network for circuit modelling of electromagnetic symmetric structures is discussed. Several examples are presented, ranging from coupled-line circuits and radiating elements to planar circuit resonators and frequency selective surfaces. The conclusion is always the superior performance of the lattice network in terms of physical realizability of the equivalent circuit elements, and thus, an improved physical insight. | |
