Abstract
Colloidal synthesis: ? Excellent control over particle size ? The surface can be contaminated with reaction by-products such as anions and reducing agents ? Pulsed laser ablation (PLA): ? Simpler ? Cleaner than chemical synthesis; i.e., no presence of contaminants ? Faster: at high repetition rate, highly concentrated solutions can be fabricated in just a few minutes
