Abstract
A computational work which is focused to the tuning of the main parameters related with the different models and algorithms available to fit tree based models, and to select the algorithms to perform better in the traffic accident environment. Besides the identification of the pattern and of the variables that characterize these pattern, in particular those relevant to the more severe accident in the Spanish interurban roads.
