In this study we describe the invariant and robust propagation in self-focusing Kerr media of intense laser beams creating multiple multiphoton ionization channels with ordered and controlled geometries. These beams generalize to arbitrary geometries previously described circularly symmetric cases with nonlinear Bessel beams (NLBBs), and more recently vortex NLBB inducing tubular filamentation. The enhanced control over the number and disposition of plasma channels created by these waves opens new perspectives in applications such as waveguide writing or laser machining. | |
