Abstract

| During recent years, organizations and governmental bodies are adopting Linked Data as the publication paradigm for publishing statistical data, moving from CSV and PDF files and relational databases to a more interoperable and accessible system for the web. In this work we introduce the data generation system implemented by the statistical office in the Spanish region of Aragón. The system consists on the analysis of the data and its structure, which allows to define an automated process for transforming data from relational databases into Linked Data. We also showcase an application which takes advantage of this approach and allows user to browse and retrieve statistical data. | |
