Descripción
The growth of urban areas nowadays has led to an increase in the number of underground power lines. Some underground networks are located in utility tunnels, which represent a new solution that allows simple operations on the infrastructures. Due to the expansion of urban areas, underground power lines have been gradually added in the already used utility tunnels, which means that two or more power lines run along the tunnel. A large transmission line with high voltage and current level generates large values of significant electromagnetic fields, which affect near power lines, producing a change in the equivalent line impedances of MV cable systems. State estimation result is a crucial aspect in the online management of power networks of the new smart grids. However line impedances are not well known. In this paper, a study of the proximity influence of a high voltage cable system on the line impedance of a MV cable network is analyzed, and the consequences of this on the state estimation are presented.
