Compounds such as hippuric and benzoic acid present in urine/slurry can be controlled through diet manipulation to mitigate nitrous oxide (N2O) when these urine/slurries are applied in the soil. This study evaluates how the inclusion of fibrous by-products onto pigs? diet affects the concentration of organic acids in the excreted urine/slurry, and how these changes can affect soil gas emissions. | |
