Descripción
The work conducted extended and update the work done on CEQID during her 3-month stay in 2017. In particular, she added a number of new datasets to the CEQID database, then conducted a new cross-event analysis to determine fragility curves for 3 key building classes, Weak Masonry, Unreinforced Masonry and RC Frame, separating the data by geographical region. She then applied a recently developed technique to revise the fragility curves, removing the bias caused by the uncertainty in the ground motion. A fragility index was developed for each class of building in each region, and a diagram was designed to represent the relative fragilities of the classes in different regions.
