Abstract
The synchronous behavior hints towards the possibility of ? waves, that are speci?fic to movement related tasks, being carried over ? waves a ting as a general carrier. Machine learning studies further highlight that the content of motor imagery, being used to choose between hands, is communicated through ? waves, because the ANN performance drastically improves after inclusion of this frequency band. The improvement in the ANN performance using channels in the vicinity of the inferior parietal lobe re-emphasizes its role in MI.
