| n order to identify the needs and adjustment of the elite athletes at the retirement transition, to develop efficient Career Assistance Programs, the aims of this study are to determine if the athletes that follow a dual career path have a better social and working integration than those athletes that dedicated during the sport career exclusively to sport and if the level of sport performance achieved and gender has any relationship with their future social and working integration. A purposive sampling will be carried out of the retired elite Spanish athletes of Olympic sports. A survey methodology will be developed.
