We show how to create multi-hump, nonlinear beams with rotating, propagation-invariant intensity patterns in a self-focusing Kerr medium with multiphoton absorption. These beams can generate multiple, helicoidal filamentation channels for applications such as laser-powered material processing. The intensity, number of rotating filaments, and their rotation speed can easily be controlled by the vorticity and cone angles of the couple of Bessel beams that induce these rotating beams upon propagation in the nonlinear medium. | |
