| The design of low cost Laser Grooved Buried Contact (LGBC) silicon solar cells for concentrator applications has been advanced to improve their performance. Concentrator cells have been manufactured in the one-sun cell manufacturing line of BP Solar in Tres Cantos, Madrid (Spain). These cells have been designed for use ina single-axis ative tracking EUCLIDES system for 40X concentration and showed an average efficiency of 18.5% for 59.2 cm2 area cell. | |
