Occupational accidents involve consequences of a personal nature for the worker and economic for the companies, and they occur due to the performance of tasks and functions of the workplace, on the way (in itinere) and by illness]; The psychological risks of work overload and lack of autonomy are the ones that most investigate, causing fatigue and cognitive errors. In the field of construction, the accident rate is very high and within the scope of psychology there are different variables such as control of work, the use of protective equipment, responsibility, safety training, social support, accidents in itinere and psychological distress. It is essential to study the psychological variables of the safety climate in a building work, social work and personal support, and work stress as main stressors. Recent research analyses psychosocial risks as elements of great importance to be considered in prevention systems during the execution phase of a building. The different work environments must be identified, the worker's capacity in the development of the task and their motivation as factors that intervene in a very direct way in work accidents. It is also essential to incorporate the assessment of psychosocial risks within the building process to measure the well-being of workers, the overconfidence of experienced workers, the inexperience of young people, routine and overload [8], to establish prevention strategies that alert workers to unsafe behaviours and ensure that behaviours are adequate in terms of prevention based on higher levels of participation. More and more studies analyse the relationship between happiness and productivity in the assessment of the level of satisfaction. | |
