Organic-inorganic lead halide perovskites (mainly CH3NH3Pbl3) are being extensively studied because their excellent photovoltaic properties, such as suitable bandgap, high optical absorption and long carrier lifetime [1]. We need to understand the properties of hybrid perovskites for photovoltaic materials, to advance in their applications. To explain the large recombination time, the hypothesis that the formation of ferroelectric domains can separate the diffusion pathways of electrons and holes has been proposed. We have found that a two-dimensional hole confmement in CH3NH3Pbl3 is possible under room temperature conditions. | |
