| Service contract between Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and Car2go in order to promote actions for raising awareness against Climate Change. This project is included in the Living LAb framework, a change process implemented by the Innovation and Technology for Development Centre at the Technical University of Madrid (itdUPM) in liaison with the Madrid City Council, to address the Air Quality and Climate Change Plan (Plan A). The sustainable transformation of mobility in Madrid is an effective way to mitigate GHG emissions. This is one of the working themes of the LivingLAb, which has emerged from the need to act upon mobility patterns in the Madrid periphery, and thereby promoting new forms of active mobility (carsharing,pedestrian, biking) and reducing the use of private cars. At international level, this Car2go project contributes to launch several online contests on the conceptualization and the prototype of specific solutions to problems of mobility through the collective intelligence online platform UPM-MIT, where the Spanish version of the Climate CoLab platform is currently being developed by UPM with in liason with the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The pilot project on the collective intelligence online platform on mobility is currently being designed and the work plan is five months. Car2go and UPM agree on promoting the project in joint communication activities (e.g. press release, press conference) at the beginning and at the end of the project. Car2go funding comes from Ministerio de Transición Ecológica (Government of Spain), CLIMA Project from Car2go (the total amount is equivalent to 1.638 tones of CO2 in 2017). | |
