Abstract
A comparative between electrical power generation ability of PZT and a Pb-free commercial piezoelectric ceramic material is presented in this work. Analysis of practical results will allow highlighting the behaviour differences in energy harvesting systems. The piezoelectric devices are tested under equivalent mechanical stress to road traffic environment. The traffic flow generates the electrical signals in the piezoelectric materials. Those electrical signals and the power harvested in each test are stored and analyzed.
