This work aims to show the current level of dissemination of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies (also known as 3D Printing) in the syllabus of mechanical engineering education, by sampling the main engineering colleges in Spain. The results of this study will define the current state of the matter and, hence, the starting point for any modifications that syllabuses must undergo for engineering students to acquire the knowledge and skills required in the future to use Additive Manufacturing in their professional careers. The results of this survey will contribute to profiling how Additive Manufacturing can be included in the syllabus and when professors believe that this change should take place. | |
