During her visit to New Zealand, Dr. María del Carmen Suárez de Figueroa Baonza, a lecturer of the Departamento de Inteligencia Artificial at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and a senior researcher of the Ontology Engineering Group (OEG) at UPM, will perform the following tasks: ? Attendance at the "18th International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC 2019)" (Auckland (New Zealand)). Dr. María del Carmen Suárez de Figueroa Baonza is part of the ISWC 2019 Organizing Committee and plays the role of co-chair of the Poster and Demo Track at such a conference. ? Organization of different bilateral meetings with researchers from The University of Auckland (New Zealand). The goal of such meetings is to discuss possible future international cooperation between OEG and the School of Computer Science (The University of Auckland). ? Organization of different bilateral meetings with researchers from the Complexity & Connection Science Lab (Victoria University of Wellington) with the objective of establishing the necessary research connections and of discussing future international cooperation between OEG and the Complexity & Connection Science Lab. ? Initial analysis of the use of semantic technologies and artificial intelligence techniques for evaluating the quality of documents with respect to the Easy-to-Read Methodology. ? Initial analysis of the implications between the research on how to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the research about cognitive disabilities. ? Presentation of current research performed by Dr. María del Carmen Suárez de Figueroa Baonza as an invited talk at the Victoria University of Wellington. | |
