Actually, working conditions are very different in different countries. While in European countries different rules are contemplated to regulate the rights and obligations of employers and workers, in Latin American countries the legislation, application and compliance of safety and health are precarious although there is also Health and Safety regulations. The present work explains the degree of implementation of actions in matters of safety and health of workers in three countries, one European country (Spain) and two Latin American countries (Mexico and Peru), and analyzed the international agreements, legislation and regulations developed in these three countries and the effects they have as well as the causes of the degradation of the Quality of Work Life, which can be divided into two types: quality of life of the working environment that focuses on productivity and quality of psychological work life it focuses on the interaction of workers and individuals where the general objective is the welfare and health of the worker. On the other hand, the commitment for the management of the company is a vital factor that allows workers to have a safe and healthy workplace this is linked to the fact that management systems are an important tool for companies to its scope to achieve the objectives and commitments in matters of occupational health and safety and since there is a period of change, an analysis of the differences and similarities between the OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard and the 45001:2018 standard is raised and it is addressed an alternative to the migration process of a company that has already implemented a health and safety management system (OHSAS) to the new ISO standard. But also, given that the implementation of an ISO standard in a company is a complicated process, a basic management system is proposed for construction companies in Mexico. Finally, some application cases are explained, given that ISO 45001:2018 is new, there are few studies that refer to the transition from one standard to another, however the studies are exposed to show that working with a system of Management brings many benefits, results and experience for the company and its workers in two fields, industrial and construction. | |
