| The sound quality has been focused in measurable indicators of the desirable and undesirable conditions, being excluded other elements that define the space, such as the sensoryperceptive phenomenon. The research objectives were the following: to assess qualitatively the soundscape and its influence in the environmental quality in the streets of Maracaibo, as a result of an exploratory and descriptive research, and considering as case studies three public spaces with different characters, sound impacts and public scrutiny (based on questionnaires). In conclusion, each street space has its own soundscape which is related to urban culture. | |
