| ICT based Accessibility is considered as a basic strategy to promote full participation of people with disabilities in the Information Society. Several types of networked initiatives in the development and promotion of Design for All and Assistive Technologies are currently ongoing. However, these initiatives are not specifically conceived to function as collaborative resources for the multidisciplinary set of stakeholders involved in the different aspects of eAccessibility. In this context, eAbilities project has enhanced this situation with the development of a platform for current and future actions in research, education and technology transfer in the field of ICT accessibility in the home, vehicle and working environments in Europe. | |
