Telecommunication markets are flooded with new applications. Operators and their suppliers usually implement solutions with a great potential market, but these services require long deployment times and redundant work to adapt the logic to the different access networks, and do not always satisfy the specific user needs. In recent times the requirements of the users have evolved rapidly. Small companies are interested in developing specific applications and services to satisfy these requirements, but the network resources and required data (user profile, user behavior, user location, etc.) are under the control of the operators. At the same time, users are given a passive role, as there is no way for them to personalize their services according to their needs. In parallel, today¿s services are becoming more complex, requiring the collaboration of an increasing number of telecommunication network resources of various technologies, which are managed by various types of operators or private individuals, or are part of complex industrial installations. | |
