In this paper we prove a formula that connect monic polynomials with associated polynomials. This formula generalizes a Van Assche's theorem for Orthogonal Polynomials satisfying a three term recurrence relation. As consecuence we prove a formula for the trace of the resolvent of the Hessenberg matrix's finite sections. This formula generalizes one of Van Assche for the trace of Jacobi matrix's finite sections. | |
