Descripción: This paper describes an IP/SIP-based architecture designed to deliver mobile wireless services. The suitability of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), a signaling protocol created for handling sessions with one or more end-points, is shown. This protocol allows the independence of the protocols used above or below it, the localization and availability of an end-point, and the creation, modification and termination of sessions. Additionally, if combined with XML, it enables network and information routing
