The Technical Building Code (CTE), for guarantee the quality of indoor air inside residential buildings, demand a minimum renovation of air trough inlets placed in dry rooms such us bedrooms and living rooms, outlets placed in wet rooms such us kitchens and bathrooms and openings in intermediate partitions. The aim of this research is to simulate trough the STAR_CCM+ program of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), the Draught Rate vote (DR) and the Predicted percentage of dissatisfied (PPD). Both of these rates which are compiled by the norm ISO 7730:2006 in the Technical Building Code (CTE), measure the discomfort index in each room caused by air flow. For the research it has been chosen a prototype room which belongs to a building designed with environmental criterions and placed in the North of Madrid. This room has a rectangular shape of 4,60 m. x 2,40 m. The window sizes are 1,20 m. x 1,20 m., which is placed settled in one of the smallest length and 0,95 m. far from the floor. There is built-in wardrobe (1,55 m. x 0,60 m.) and a door (leaf of 0,72 m. x 2,03 m.) in the opposite side. The free high is 2,60 m. For the research model, in first place it has been simulated and analyzed the DR and PD vote behaviour, considering different configurations of inlets and outlets. In a second way it has been done a comparative research of the different configurations obtaining the most suitable according to CTE. Inlet and outlet air configurations chosen: Inlet: 1) Above the window; 2) Down the window Outlet: A) Between the door¿s leaf and the floor, B) In the wall, settled above the door, C) In the built-in wardrobe wall, 10 cm from the adjoining wall and 30 cm from the floor, D) In the built-in wardrobe wall, 10 cm from the adjoining wall and 120 cm from the floor, E) In the built-in wardrobe wall, 10 cm from the adjoining wall and 10 cm from the ceiling and F) Two outlets (above the door and down it). 1.
