| The workshop has a practical aim to develop collaborative research networks within Latin America with teams and centres in Europe, and worldwide. In particular it will focus on the management needs of business and technology organisations and how they can learn to work more effectively in knowledge-intensive activities. It will identify the key topics which might influence international cooperation in R&D management and suggest an ongoing agenda for research. In order to promote more effective R&D and innovation management, the workshop will examine the issues expected to influence R&D management within Latin America and the systems and interfaces between centres of expertise, technology teams and management scientists worldwide. It will discuss what needs to be researched in order to support better R&D management practices, to strategically develop capabilities, and to advance the state-of-the-art. | |
