This paper presents an interferometric Linear frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (LFMCW) radar system developed in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The system uses a three antenna configuration: one for transmission and two for reception. The radar operates at millimetre-wave band with a maximum transmitted bandwidth of 2GHz, so a high resolution could be achieved. The maximum transmitted power is 1W. An experiment has been carried out to demonstrate the feasibility of the system: the height of some corner reflectors has been measured from the interferometric phase of the radar. | |
