| The aim of this work is to study in detail the droplet vitrification protocol developed for mint cryopreservation in the Genebank of IPK in Gatersleben. Plants from the field collection, in vitro plants and regenerated plants from cryopreservation have been studied in order to evaluate their genetic stability as a fundamental aspect in the adequacy for long term germplasm conservation of the different procedures. The genetic stability analysis has been carried out with RAPD (Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA) markers. | |
