Abstract

| The Air Navigation research and development group (GINA) of the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid (UPM) is using low cost ADS-B receivers to develop a database of aircraft tracks for different purposes, such usimprovement of the monitoring of ADS-B messages, 4D trajectories generation for simulation tools, airport operation risk analysis, enhance risk models and CDA analysis. GINA is looking forward to sharing this initiative with other universities and research centres to produce a common database and an ¿ad-hoc¿ web-based statistical tool. | |
