This work presents the comparison of results obtained numerically and experimentally for a reference high speed train of CAF exposed to cross winds. Two different scenarios are studied: flat ground and ballast and rail configuration. The purpose is to study the behaviour of the train against cross winds and to investigate the accuracy that typical steady CFD-RANS methods produce by comparison with experiments. | |
