Agile Software Development (ASD) methodologies have been significantly accepted by industrial software companies1. Issues such as reduced time to market, adaptive planning, lightweight, and welcome to changes, have led to the companies to incorporate agile practices in their projects. ASD improvements are mainly based on adaptive planning in each iteration (as opposed to plan-driven), continuous delivery of valuable software by short time-framed iterations, and tacit knowledge processes with litter ware. However, very often companies need integrate these agile practices with other already consolidated software development methodologies. This may be the case of architecture-centric methodologies such as Software Product Line Engineering (SPLE). | |
