| "The organization of the STA project is lead by the Steering Board (SB). The SB has the duties to develop, control, promote, maintain, and expand the software suite, its its implications and use in space agencies and in Universities. The SB has the duty to promote and encourage the use, development, and maintenance of STA. The STA Steering Board is composed of ESA, Academia and Universities members, and the Celestia team leader. Each participant institution is represented by one or two members in the Steering Board. The STA SB was founded Friday, October 6th, 2006. Since then, the Steering Board meets every calendar year. The SB has the duty to propose the contributions from and financing of students in support of the development of STA. " | |
