| Climatic Change in Galicia is a result of an inevitable World-Wide episode, although policies of control of greenhouse effect were established; only a global technological intervention, unpredictable at the moment, would have positive consequences in this problem. Therefore, the magnitude of this change must be analyzed carefully to establish actions to reduce its impact. One of the forms to know its evolution in the present time is paleoclimatology and, a part of it, dendroclimatology; this discipline is a paleoclimatic proxy methodology that allows extracting climatic information of the tree-rings in the last millennium. In Galicia, like in the rest of Spain, the manifestations of the Climatic Change can be already quantified, although at the moment, due to Atlantic Ocean, the effects in the northwest and north of Spain are smoothed. In this work the evolution of Climatic Change in Galicia is analyzed comparing the behavior of complete meteorological stations located in the coast (A Coruña) and in the interior (Santiago de Compostela Universidade and Aeroporto da Lavacolla), that have been reconstructed in the last millennium. | |
