Nowadays, PBL is considered a suitable methodology for engineering education. Besides, competitiveness and motivation to reach high quality are two important skills required in engineering education. In this work we describe an assessment mechanism in a PBL context to improve these skills along the academic year. The approach is based on a co-assessment system among students. Every team looks through the work of other three teams, assigns marks and establishes a quality classification taken into account for the final mark. The first results obtained along the academic year 2008-2009 point out an increasing motivation of students for quality in the developed projects. | |
